Provides 9x magnified view of target, with crosshairs to aid in centering object. Can be focused to provide best view for the user. Fits standard finderscope dovetail bracket. Also includes Orion safety film solar filter and lens caps. The finderscope has a location to plug in an illuminator if desired (not included). Product instructions included.

Although this finder can be used as the sole finderscope, I found it most useful as a secondary finder, paired with a straight-through non-magnified finder such as a red-dot, Telrad, or Rigel. Because of the right-angle design, it's useful during outreach events as it allows the operator to check that the target is in view without displacing the patrons queueing up to look in the eyepiece.
