			About this event
Star Parties are a public service of the DVAA and are free.   Adults and children are welcome.  Attendance is strictly limited to 80 attendees and registration of attendees is mandatory.   DVAA members setting up telescopes do not need to register.
Brett Beidler is star party Captain for this event.
DVAA members setup and operate a number of telescopes and binoculars, and members of the public are invited to observe through the telescopes.  Members of the public should feel free to bring out your own equipment as well.   In either case, be prepared to learn a whole lot about the sky (the DVAA loves to talk astronomy)!  If you'd like to be notified about weather-related changes, register for the event with your name and email.  Also include your cell phone number if you'd like to receive a text.   For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on the observing field.   No food or drinks on the field.
